Shopping Again!

Ok, so I HAD to go spend my coupons again...right? So Saturday, I dragged my hubby to the mall again.

I had another free panty coupon from VS & got $10 off a $20 bra for a grand total of $10. WooHoo!

Then I went back to New York & Company to spend my $45 off $90. I picked up a short gray cardigan sweater, pink ruffled short-sleeve shirt, blue jacket, white & green stripes shirt, & a yellow ruffled hoodie (sold out online - could only find a pic of the pink one).

Then I made a trip to Express (since I had a coupon for $30 off $90, of course) and found the cutest black & white dress (on sale for $29.99), a wide black & pewter belt (which I can wear with the dress), a diagonal-striped pink tones cami (on sale for $9.99), and each of a black and a white short-sleeved square-neck shirt (on sale for $9.99 each).

I also think this belt from New York & Company would look cute with the dress (on sale for 20% off $19.95).

And while I was looking online for pics of my purchases, I found this really cute purse at Express on sale for $19.99.

And last but not least, I spotted these to-die-for flats at glamlist.com on sale for $59 (aren't you proud of me... I didn't buy them!). Enter my email address (sleemhuis[at]yahoo.com) to shop at glamlist.com.

Custom Action Figures & Pez Dispensers

Look -- you can get your own Sarah Palin action figure in 3 different outfits. Who'd have thunk it? Or choose any political figure here. And for only $425, you can get a custom action figure of yourself, your spouse, or whoever.

Personally, I enjoy the Obama and McCain Pez dispensers...

Or for a mere $299.99, get a Pez dispenser of yourself.

OU @ Victoria's Secret

Look!!! Victoria's Secret Pink now has collegiate clothing - and they carry my alma mater - Oklahoma! How cute!!!

Shopping

Today I went shopping at Independence Center for the first time in weeks to months... okay, maybe not months... but a long time. I had a few coupons in my wallet that were crying out to be used before they expired and I discovered a few good ones that were expired. I always hate that - I feel like I'm wasting money when I throw away a "Happy Birthday - here's $15" coupon.

My first stop was at Victoria's Secret. I had a coupon for a free panty and to save $15 off 2 bras, as well as a $10 Victoria Secret Award from using my card too much previously. I picked up two $20 bras, a panty, and a grey & white striped cami on sale for $10 and spent a total of $25. Not bad!

Next, I helped my husband Carter pick out some clothing items at Macy's - their mens' clearance ties and shirts were buy 1 get 1 free. I dropped him off at Trade Secret to get his hair cut while I wandered over to New York & Co to spend my $40 off $100 coupon and earned $45 off a $90 future purchase with my $100 purchase today. I picked up the cutest vest, sweater, and top, along with a belt, sunglasses, and jewelry (mostly on sale, of course). These are some of the things I got.

Now, I wonder what I will buy with my new $45 off $90 coupons.... :-)

By the way, this is my favorite site to get coupons for online shopping - RetailMeNot.

I did it!

Well, I created a personal blog. I don't know if anyone will be interested to read this or not, but I figured it would be a good way to vent about bad things and to share good things!

My goal is to post different interesting things that I find because others may be interested as well.
